Don't break the law, then have nothing to worry about. It's funny how people complain about EPA checks knowing full well before hand that we are breaking the law in modifying these cars. If you don't want to be hassled, don't modify, simple.

I always knew I was taking a risk with modifying all my previous cars.. However even in my crazy loud WRX I never got noise tested by a cop or ride height check. I put that down to never being a *beep* towards them..

Also, thanks to this magical thing called a database, once you have a record, they will continually ask you if everything is as it should be and sometimes even have a look themselves.

In other words, if you got caught doing burnouts in your slammed vr commordore with no cat while having a few tins and your mates in the boot on your ps, dont expect them to just wave and smile when driving past them in your xr6t or even your mums corolla.

I agree, it really matters how you speak to them

when I got pulled over, I was buttering them up hard

avoided a couple self incriminating questions did some more sucking up

and got let off, I thanked them done

I literally got the good cop bad cop scenario aswell lol

if I was to be a sick c*^t fully muzztastik attitude told them they can go get f'd

im pretty sure I would of cop'd a series of fines

I say give it ago next time be as nice as you can present yourself to be genuine and honest

They're doing their job...if you don't like the law or how it is enforced then lobby a politician. Slurring a police officer or any public servant achieves nothing and just makes you look like a redneck.

this was my opinion,I dont like them and have had very bad experiences in my life to know that no matter how bad in need me of my family is they will never be called..

my little brother was in a bit of a situation with his freind and some self confessed drug dealer,when he was trying to make them his mule, I intervened and called the cops,how silly I was..they came when things were heated between me and the other guy so out a fit of rage I dropped that junkie,now instead of hearing my side of the story and me trying to help my little brother they automatically threw me and him on the floor,my little brother had a tiny build,they broke his shoulder on impact with the floor..seeing a family member treated like that I turned me and dropped two officers and proceeded to pound on them till my brother dragged me off.I went home and early the next morning I was arrested..I plead guilty to 7 counts and served a min 0f 3yrs..now ive learnt my lesson in a way that you cant hit these wa@#$s but I show no respect to those that dont show me any..there on big power trips and the only differnce is they carry a badge and a gun..I got 1yr on top of my sentence because they were cops,if it was anyone else no jail time..there normal people just like me and you there no better...yes there presence does do a hell of alot for society in regards to crime and so forth but most of them are just plain f@#wits..nowerdays when I get pulled over like the other day,they check my record even though ive been well behaved they have smartass comments in regards to me beating two cops like "what you think your a tuff *beep* bashing police,how would you like it if we put u in the divvie van and beat u",I get that all the time.they always call backup because apparently im a risk to the police safety blah blah blah...some of you guys said that be nice and suck up to them,why? next thing you know your blowing them off just not to get a fine..f@# that...
