I thought no more evos from Mitsubishi, and Subaru are splitting the WRX/STI away from the Impreza. I believe the next rexxy will be a 1.6L.

as said before the 86 is designed to be bought by both women who can manage the low power and by dudes who will take it down the aftermarket power up route. I think its a great idea, and I hope they sell sh*tloads. The more on the road the more aussie tuners/aftermarket manufacturers will jump on board too.

Because the 86 and BRZ are NA (at this stage anyway) does that mean we wouldn't be able to regestrate the car if adding a Turbo? Been a long time since I've done engine swaps and not sure what the current rules are.

I first seen pictures of the Subaru end of last year thought it looked rad then a mate who works at Cannon Toyota dealership brought a 86 GT past my joint the other week and all I have to say is if your over 5.5 ft in height you will never be comfortable in the thing, I have no idea why they pretend you could actually have a person or even a small animal in the back drove like a 350z with even less power up top but geared well feels like your flying when not really going anywhere at all honestly couldn't see anyone buying one of these at the price

Would require an engineers report to be legal.
