Dont know about the boost youll have to run, but the actuator is a good idea to make sure it maintains the boost and doesnt allow it to bleed away. I reckon the 10 would be good.

What about the actuator? I have no idea as to getting an 8 or 10 pound. I assume I would have to run atleast 12psi to obtain around 330rwkw.

Ring your tuner mate they all prefere different actuators.

Yours may need waste gate port aswell so don't get too carried away.

Thanks guys, tuner reckons 8lb is the way to go. No porting needed with low 300's. I live in SA so Heinrich Perfromance will be my tuner

depends on what exhaust you end up using and what boost you want to control

But I am unsure whether to get 8psi or 10psi actuator. Is the Walbro GSS340 pump enough? Flows 255LPH.

Probably a 12.8psi actuator would be better at that power to help avoid any boost control issues unless you are going to run a low boost tune also. I have seen set-ups with the boost solenoid by-passed that run perfect boost every time just below the actuator rating.

I prefer an electronic boost controller if using actuators that are well under my desired boost or if a valet mode is required (I'm using VCM).

+1 for the surge tank, leave the in-tank unmolested :)

the 7psi actuators bruce fits are perfict for the way he controls boost in under 350 rwkw cars

ralphy it is s.a vs the world

we have road salmon down here aswell :P taking on the world one tune at a time

p.s no surge should be fitted without up grading the intank its asking for issues if your going to fork out to begin with

Sounds good Jet, I'm just getting the upgraded fuel pump setup that Bruce supplies/fits.
