Yep def diff bushes! The front bush in front of the diff was non existent and was banging its head off on take off, cornering...

My rear bushes are still fine with 87000km's on the car though.

That's awesome for the power mate!!!

Any chance you can post a engine bay pic?

Showing turbo side intake pipe too :)

Plazmaman kit looks very thorough.

Did you install yourself?

On the diff bushes,

Is their tuffet nolathane etc bushes available?

Would anyone happen to have the part number?

Cheers

Without this forums help I would still be rolling a standard TT!!

So much thanks to everyone for the wise words!!

Hi again guys

Sorry to keep this thread going, I feels it's easier as my situation and mods can be seen.

Now I had my trans serviced and flushed with a steel pan upgrade and the gulf western fluid by mv automatics in Adelaide. Awesome job and price, super quick service!

After that the normal lunge into first gear when coming to a stop had completely gone, shifts were a lot quicker and firmer too :) money well spent!

Now lately under full power 3rd to 4th shifts occasionally it feels it slips during the shift.

And occasionally feels like it holds a gear a little longer than it should for the throttle input.

I'm curious if this is perhaps common symptoms of a generally worn zf trans or maybe somthing Somone else may have experienced running the gulf western fluid?

Also how have people's zf's held up when pushed up around the 300awkw mark?

Roughly what are people paying for a rebuild and beef up of the box?

I'm at the stage were I'm ready to buy the Plazmaman front mount kit but Im curious if I should save a little longer to pay for trans.

Cheers guys for all the great advice :)

Yep that sounds like its re build time cumming mate

I use gulf western oil in my zf brilliant stuff

A few good zf builders in aust now

Xft, monster totque, nizpro, bta, etc etc

Nothing I would rate here in sa unfortunately

All the big boys send them off to get built

Damn alright I might hold off on the cooler kit for now then.

Any idea on roughly how much ya pay for a good build box? 3-4k?

Iv got a Plazmaman under battery intake ready to throw on to replace my growler cold air box.

I also have a spare brand new gt3582r turbo in peices, now am I able to throw on the .07 conp housing or will it need the conp wheel and housing used?

That should give slightly cooler intake temps while keeping the top mount yeah?

Would the cold air intake and bigger comp housing be enough to need retuning?

Cheers
