Steering Wheel Shakes When Driving

Over tightening wheel nuts can cause irreversible brake shudder.

If it were my car id check wheel balance, tyre pressures, rotor runout and wheel alignment.

A checklist for all of those should pinpoint what is going wrong.

I'd run a higher pressure in the rear if I were you.

Do you know what the proper NM the wheel nuts should be?

I did retighten the wheel nuts recently. After getting the car back from Peel tyres in Mandurah all the wheel nuts were loose as. I could move some with my fingers =/

They're rings you put inside the bore of the wheel to make sure the wheel is centred perfectly.

Ford specifies: 135 NM :)
