Are those blue barbs the ones that ebay Furious8 sells or did you get them elsewhere as I have only seen him sell the plain billet ones with a thread on the other end?

Correction to this reply, it was "Furious Performance" on ebay not Furious8!

The 5/16 male quick connect fittings from speedflow are relatively new. The ones I used from furious performance were the only ones available at the time.

another thread dig by myself but I think have something to offer on this to further the great mods and info by senor toads haha :D

came across these guys in my search to find an easier way to install a decent aftermarket filter without all the lines as toads has done..

he stated a cheaper alternative but I think this product may be a little more userfriendly and suitable for the budget diy guys..

this product enables ya to use the factory lines, cut to size and without the need to take the lines off and flare them..

just cut the lines to size install these guys on each side of the new pump and your good to go..

as most pumps come with a -6 or -8 outlet and fitting this fitting will mate staight up to that and flare the lines in the process sealing the new unit..

its the way im heading and using a decent staino filtered pump will mean no more dramas with dodgy flare nuts and stripping them and disposable filters

and should owe ya about $150 and can take out clean etc as much as u like without the issues..

hope this helps guys :)

Yeah I remember looking at the Earls compression fittings at the time. The ones I was looking at were only rated to 50psi or something....right on the cusp!!! But I reckon they would be fine anyway, quite a few people use them on other vehicles. Post the pressure rating if you can find one, these maybe rated higher ?
