They may go like stink but the quality of fit and finish is rubbish. From my experience of owning one.All I can say is to make sure you do a thorough pre delivery inspection. Check everything before accepting the car, because after delivery don't expect any decent after sales support or service. I still have issues from day one that have not been resolved...... Faults that should be warranty fixes - that they don't fix are what p*ss me off. I'm hoping that's not the case. I haven't bought an Australian built car for 13 years (shame on me). I need a tow car and I'm not keen on any of the (every-man-and-his-dog-has-one) dual cabs out there. I would have called myself a Expensive Daewoo man 13 years ago too but I admire Ford for sticking it through the GFC, I like the Falc better than Comm and think particulary, the XR6T auto is a better car than the SS V8 auto. Plus the Falc tows 2300kg.

I was going to wait and see what the deal is for the SVP model but I don't want to wait too much longer. Decided I'll run round with the soft tonneau for a bit and see if a hard lid suits what I'm doing with the car. One with remote locking dealer wanted $2500.@apolloxbgt - no offence. We've got Diesel Navaras, Tritons and Rangers here at work. The Navaras have been problematic over 100,000klms. Ranger (old model) had some major issues Ford warranty fixed -coolant/engine oil 'crossed the floor' so to speak. So far so good with the Tritons.
