it is a stapled elbow - got bored

plus the mods didn't like the allen key through the nipple pic so I though this one might be a bit more user friendly.

Sorry to bump this guys, But im still chasing a member willing to loan there tool.

I guess not too many people would be willing to send out their $500 tool to someone they never met hoping they get it back.

If I were you I'd go with Atomic loan option, you get it all back anyway...

When using the air line to hold the valves up can it push the piston down. Doing the springs look pretty easy but time consuming, the only thing I can think that'd be a pain is making sure all the cam timing is right when putting it back together. Do you make sure you start at TDC marking the chain/camgears etc then get TDC again and line it all up again or am I missing something? I'm definitely no mechanic but like to do things myself and learn as I go so any tips would be helpful.

From what I read in the below thread, Atomic(brad) will lend you his tool if you deposit the price of it or something like that. Might be worth calling/emailing him or read the below thread.

Ford has two valve spring tools for our falcons. One for exhaust and one for intake.

Pretty sure anyway

I used a conventional tool on mine. Took a while with 24 valves but was heaps cheaper
