Hi. Im getting a dyno tune tommorrow and the tuner I'm going to says the injectors in standard BA XRTs are already just about maxed out. Im only after about 240-250 rwkw. Will I need bigger ones. CAT has been removed and CAI has been changed.Any advice will be appreciated. Cheers Martin

240s would be possible. Anymore and you would more than likely need more supporting mods, injectors and cooler being the main bottlenecks

Your tuner is correct. I wouldn't really bother tuning the car without upgraded injectors. Especially if you've already removed the cat. Pay the extra $300-$400 and you'll make 250-260rwkw.

Standard at a guess you will be making 190-200rwkw's. Standard injectors will be at close to 100% duty cycle at 250-260 rwkw's. Which really is not ideal. Due to the Un Zud legislation not requiring you to ran a cat, this will allow you to run some nice boost if you wish, even with the standard exhaust. So really if you can stretch and get a better cooler, and at least 42lb injectors you should be able to make some reasonable power without smashing my date. At the same time not risking a lean condition. Although, if you don't have the funds to get injectors make sure that the tune is set up to run at a maximum of 95% duty cycle. Let us know how you get on. Cheers

Thanks for the info guys. From what I've read on here the valve springs and auto cant handle too much extra power so I would be happy with about 240-250 rwkw. If the injectors can handle that I'll be happy.

with injectors, the power level achieved depends on how lean you are prepared to run your engine, a BA auto making 250 rwkw would be starting to run lean
