hey fellaz. I wana de-badge my xr6t. just the turbo logo off the boot. im getting a new FG xr6t but im still on my darn p's and obviously since its vic rules I cant drive it. the turbo sign would HAVE to come off to stop darn cops pulling me over and hassling me. any tips on how to get it off? its meant to be delivered in a couple days. lol just want to know how to do it without scratching the fk outa my new beast :D

Do you realise the repercussions of driving a T on your Ps,besides being fined and possible loss of the car, insurance companies will not cover you if you have an accident which could leave you liable for massive damage bills.

Its just not worth the risk, wait till you get off your Ps and then go out and buy an XR6t

lol. im all good for the risk, thanks for the advice/worry though. also dont worry anyone. I already found out how to debadge. heat gun + dent floss/fishing line.

I reckon they look heaps better debadged and without the boot spoiler. but when I get my turbo im gonna leave the turbo badge on for a bit and see if I like it.post-31254-1221261388_thumb.jpg

trade secret.

get 2 ring end spanners and tie light fishing line to the ring ends so you can pull it tight.

then using even tension and speed pull the fishing line under the badges and remove the glue with petrol.

polish and your done.
