If you're referring to taking off the "turbo" badge I would definitely be doing it.

Reasons:- Firstly, there are some real idiots out there who delight in monstering other peoples' nice machinery - I think the turbo badge stands up and says pick me pick me. Secondly, I enjoy blowing off lesser cars with my turbo ZL which has no outer giveaways whatsoever - just the look of surprise is enough! But of course the fun of doing it is pretty good too heheheh. Thirdly, you will have every rice boy in the burg trying you on at the lights - this is OK when YOU want to do it, but it gets a bit much when they continually harass you, and maybe when you're down to your last two licence points and you aren't sure if there's a camera behind the next tree ... WRX drivers will tell you this, it is one of their pet hates.

I did see a Phantom XR6 at Eclipse Ford Ballarat a couple of weeks ago. What was interesting is that this car had no badges at all on the boot of the car, only the XR6 badge on the skirt flanks.

Another thing, was that it had a fordxr6turbo.com sticker on the back window. So to the owner of this car, sorry I didn't see you to talk to.

Ah Dagabond, I thought it might have been you. Were the badges still off from the fixing of the scratches?

I couldn't remember if there was your unique leather seats in there, so couldn't say if it was you or not.

I did hang around for a few minutes but had to go. I was just leaving after finalising my order for my XR8....which I should have on the 5th...yay.

I like debadged cars... nice clean lines... keeps you guessing about what model it actually is.

I was going to do it to my XR8, but with the demise of tickford, and birth of FPV, I am going to keep the badges there...

my next car (hopefully be getting it within the next 2 months) will have no badges when it makes it debut....
