turbomuzz New Member 12 Member For: 12y 7m 6d Posted 12/06/12 12:21 PM Author Share Posted 12/06/12 12:21 PM Thankyou Tab. Honestly, I dont have time to scrounge around for bits and pieces of mods. I would like the one workshop to have the car, work on it, and return it to me. that way if something fails or is not up to standard, they cant blame it on some ebay ripoff that I accidentally purchased. I know my way of thinking is very "bought not built" but I helped my mates 1jzgte corona get into the 10s from his garage and it was a farkin nightmare. Especially when he didnt let me drive it. I have researched a bit, but honestly I thought someone on here could help fast-track me with some workshop names... I mean isnt this why they call it a "community"... helping each other? Im new, so I have not much prior knowledge of my car, but if something goes wrong, or outstandingly well, then I will be more than obliged to post about it to help everyone else out. So go easy. Just wanted a simple answer to a simple question..cheers everyone

Don't bother with them at all, they have caused significant issues in the past.Second, we need a bit more information from you if you want to know what parts to get. Do you want to achieve 350rwkw on 98 pump fuel or E85? If it's E85 you can make do with the standard turbo (which is excellent for everyday driving) but if you want to use 98 then you will need a bigger turbo (the F6 turbo will be sufficient and is basically just a 'bolt-on') which comes with a slight increase in lag. This also changes what injectors you will need as well as fuel pump. Regardless, you will need to do the cat and dump, airbox and intercooler. If you are looking for Workshops, there are a couple of QLD ones in the Sponsers section that you could look in to. Tell them what you want.. Pay them monies.. Leve the car there for a week.. Return to utter insanity on 4 wheels..That is unless you wanna start reading every single thread on different parts that may have 1 or 2 ponies different on a dyno sheet..RDP in redcliffe has a good rap. I'm sure people could name others.

Now call a few and decide between them. The nizpro stage 2 would be perfect you IMO, at around 8k for a 10 second EPA approved package. Then you will need a gearbox build down the track. Other workshops may have other packages they recommend though, and qld is more lenient in the EPA department.

Haha the guys up here I deal with in DERM are more concerned about whether the culverts under a road are suitable for fish to swim through them.. They couldn't give a poop how noisey/gassy/illegal a car is
