2nd this - I have pictures posted somewhere under "How to do it", but bearings seize, and the heavy turbine wheel wants to keep on rotating, and just snaps right off the shaft.

Bought a standard cat for a BA off a wrecker and when the mechanic went to fit it he banged it a few times and it started to rattle and he turned it up and out fell the rear wheel with bits of the cat. The tuner had never seen anything like it it was wedged into the cat.

Here are the pics and yes its the wierdest thing ever, I have never seen a rear wheel come off like this. The bearing has not seized but I think the bearings just failed. Anyways decided to upgrade the turbo to a larger GTX35r with the .7AR front cover. I also ported the rear housing, fitted a 38mm swing valve and a garrett 11.8PSI actuator as well. "We" decided go bigger but I had to do all the work and fit it lol. Anyways here are the pics of the broken turbo and the pics of the new turbo I straped to the motor. Was really easy to setup and fit! I may put a kit together and start selling them!!!

Okay before I knew a great deal about the turbo on my fg I just went crazy and put all these bolt ons and yeah it went little better but nothing like when I put the turbo on.

Mods are

Xr6turbodevlopments 4" dump and cat

60lb injectors

Pw stage 2 cooler

Stainos intake turbo side intake

Xr6turbodevlopmemts gtx35 with port job and 12psi actuator

Gj strengthened cv"s

6 pot brembos

How's it compare well it's like going from na to turbo. The spool up is just amazing and top end it just keeps pulling
