Lithium grease to the rescue until I feel like having the front end apart again. :/

Damn bushes. If I ever get another Falcon I'm having the bushes done straight up, factor it into car purchase price from day dot.

Had to replace my front wheel bearings (driver's side gone) at 90 thou from memory. Just had the rears done at 165 thou. The fronts require the whole hub replaced if I remember correctly.

I'm using Superpro comfort series bushes, solid purple jobs. Might be other options in the range now though?

Hey All

I have an update to my problem with BA XR6T- Issues- under boost car would cut out and almost stall and brake shudder was annoying me.

What I have done so far to try and solve brake problem.

1- New DBA slotted rotors front and rear, Bendix ultimate pads front and rear. Wheel balance, new tyres, rotated wheels from front to rear. Inspection of front bushes, hubs etc- still had shudder under braking

Solution- Got my new rotors machined while on car- Problem solved! (SAS Silverwater Auto Services) Michael was awesome. Appears the hubs had run out now solved.

Boost issue- Michael from SAS has checked everything out and I will need a new Boost actuator and new valve springs. Waiting for new actuator then xr6T here we go.

I also got a o2 sensor which I will put in.- fuel usage like a 747 at the moment.

Again for those guys out there with issues that you have not been able to get a solution to go to SAS is in Sydney- trust me I have been to quite a few places and no one knows the BA like Michael. (Ps I paid like anyone else would have for the work but when you get a result that would ultimately save you replacing non required parts then it is worth it.)

Will keep you updated on the actuator outcome.

Hello All

Update- So I took my car in and got the new actuator installed. The problem is solved- Relief- now I love driving my car- Kinda ;). I have to get the rear diff bush done now so will be researching this and getting the upgrade done.

When my mechanic had a good look around he said the previous owner seemed like he had been looking for the problem for some time- coils with numbers on them etc and some signs that the problem couldn't be found. So yeah pretty happy with the result- no issues with engine side now.
