Member 1,026 Member For: 12y 8m 9d Gender: Male Location: Westside,Melbourne Posted 09/06/12 04:01 AM Share Posted 09/06/12 04:01 AM hey buds message above is the best way to go about blocking off your BOV,in saying that in my time of owning a few turbo cars I really wanted something temporary and "cheap and nasty" and above all wanted it to dose..if your after that then just do this.if you look at the image,take the two hose clamps off and the little air plug that sits on the front aswell.after removing the clamps pull each side of the hoses that connect to the black actuator or bov( if that's what it is??) and you should be left with an ( L ) shaped device..now the cheap and nasty part,lolif your a drinker use bottle cap off a stubbie (hah yes I said stubbie) it fits perfectly on the outer lip of the device,you can also use a plactic bottle cap then just duct tape it lightly so it doesnt make the clamp harder to place back on,repeat on the other end and put all back together..easy and cost nothing to do..5mins and you dosing..lol please note this is a temporary thing..so use at your own risk..I done it to my mates fg xr6t manual and sounds a little louder than normal,nothing outstanding though..done it to my fg f6 and that was twice as loud as the xr6t..
