@conrod hasn't logged in since 2014. Not sure if he will even reply.

I tagged him in the hope that he would get an email notification and login.

He might just reply, but I doubt it.

Rear sump is a fg,  but remember the pickup will still be low (pumps at the frount of engine and there's a extra casting in the bottom of the sump to clear it)

Does anyone know what type of Barra motor runs a rear/mid oil pan sump. Im looking for a pan, and pickup set-up.

Where do you live mate? I have this stuff lying around that I wont use so you could drop past and pick it up if you like.

Ah, this is the tricky part. I have taken on this task of a Ford Barra in the U.S.... Florida to be exact. So almost directly on the other side of the world :) So "stopping by", Unfortunately isn't a option. Would you be willing to sell and ship the item? Ill PM you to reduce clutter.

unfortunately guys I did not finish this project! I sold the van and engine too. Another Mk1 came up with a 302 already fitted, and although not as wild as this one would have been, it was much cheaper and easier to go this route.

And yes, FG sump is rear bowl. Needs matching dipstick, and block will have to be drilled to suit dipstick hole. I think the early block doesn't have the boss for the rear mount dipstick, but the FG block has both, from memory!
