Hey mate doesn't hurt to give him a call!

To get a 2007 F6 is going to cost him upwards of $20k with more kms and he doesn't have a budget for that, and as for the power they make theres basically no different between the xr6t and f6 in BFII. You pay for the aesthetic stuff and brembos if your lucky

Gee I didnt realise they were around for that price.. also forgot to search FPV instead of FORD haha.. dont know if I want to spend that much though.. its gonna be a daily driver so I dont think I could bring myself to tie that much up in one..

yeah its suprised me to see how cheap they are!.. but, like you said, to get something in the low 20 - 25k region youd have to settle for higher k's.. I think ill have just as much fun with the xr6t. Im planning on doing some mild mods to pep it up a bit anyways..

Yea do a search, they start at $22k and like you can get an XR6T around $16k like the one I posted earlier. $6k can go a long way into upgrading performance, brakes and suspension and you'll outperform a stock typhoon down the strip and on the track. A BF Typhoon is more of a comparison to a FG XR6T in price ranges

Yep prices have dropped since I bought my current BA T almost 3 years ago - but I've noticed if you want things like leather, premium sound, about 100ks (for BA) you still pay about what I paid 3 years ago :roflmbo:

I know Telstra cars well - they are well serviced and the Ts were leased mainly by people in sales so generally not trashed and always stock as a rock.

Good luck in your search - you'll luv your T if pick up a good one :beerchug:

A few fg xr6t were going through the sydney auctions this week with expected prices around 18k. Worth a look if nothing else I reckon

FYI, I just picked up an 06 BF 2 with 70,000km, stock, one owner, full books, leather, premium audio etc... Asking 20k got it for 17k. I was looking for a couple of weeks and in frustration just rang 4 sellers and offered 17k. Only takes one to agree.

There are some great deals around so don't be shy. Just ring and make an offer. If the say no just leave your details in case they change their mind.

Good luck, can't wait to pick mine up...

That's a pretty good deal Kurgen!! Some of those one's I posted a while back that have been for sale for more than 6 months will prob take the same sort of price cut, definately seems possible to get a good buy for around $17k or less
