Hi All

Paid a visit to St George Tyres 2 Arncliffe yesterday as its time to get a new set. Simon (really helpul) suggested a set of ACI tyres for my new 19" rims.

I cant find any info on the web or through the forums about these tyres so thought Id ask around for help. Apparently they are a Michilin copy.

Any feedback greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Toyo are amazing. I priced up some T1S and they were $380 a corner. Ended up going for some Achillies ATR Sport which for $120 each fitted are fantastic- just as good if not better than the factory Dunlops!

I bought the same ahillies and put them on the rear, they are ok, they aren't as good as the Maxxiz MA-Z1 in the wet. I put back on the rear the next day.

But the achillies are better in the dry an don't shred

Ive done 7k now and they are 99% on the front and 70% rear after lots of skids here and there

I shredded the Maxxis in no time but they were a reasonable wet weather tyre...

The achillies are better than everything else I've run and better than everything bar the Maxxis and surprisingly some nexens in the wet, this includes nittos jap made dunlops bridgestones pirellis and more that I've used on my car.

Yea the maxxis do wear a bit more, the Achilles look brand new still lol..

Dunno bout you but I'd rather better traction in the wet than dry.. Was doing a right hand turn normally, the road had a dip mid corner and the ass started to kick out, pretty sh*t when your not expecting it and there are cars next to ya.. In the wet btw..
