JETFPV Donating Members 672 Member For: 17y 1m 13d Gender: Male Posted 04/06/12 12:05 PM Share Posted 04/06/12 12:05 PM (edited) I think in most states also if you modify the f/wall you won't be able to register.I've modified my fire wall and the car is getting fully engineered, A Cortina will also need a firewall job to make it fit with a nice amount of room, the added benefit over a Escort is a Capri and Cortina can run an engine up to 5ltr in Capacity, so a 4ltr is well within the limit's, but this in Vic of course, my chassis guy also has found a loop hole to have the car fully engineered with the 6 point chromoly cage which will be getting done aswell...Be prepared to be forking out lot's of $$, if you dont have lot's of $$ to back you dont even think about starting such a conversion...This is takin from fullboost forum's record list, it's a Cortina with a Barra im not sure this pic will work...Here's the time it ran...Jim GrillisFord Cortina DOHC 4.0L turbo8.580 @ 163.50mph28x9in slicks, E100 fuelCouple of older video's of it, car run's a GT42 im sure and a C4....
