azbrett Member 2 Member For: 14y 1m 9d Posted 03/06/12 02:29 AM Share Posted 03/06/12 02:29 AM HI guys I recently changed my 5 speed manual to a 6 speed mal wood tranny. the car was driving the same as it was before I change the tranny for about 200km. I activated cruise control in 6th gear it hesitaded and was spurting abit then about a km down the road it sputterd again and felt like I lost feeling in the thottle (it felt lightier under foot) and the car was reving higher with less power output. It also feels like I have very little off boost power and and it doesnt hit boost as hard as it did. It used to feel alot sronged off boost and really through me back in my seat when boost came on but it doesnt now it just feels sluggish. the car has been tuned since but the problem is still there (flash x3). It is as if I have lost power throughout the whole rev range. I dont know if the cruize control would have affected the tuning or it is something mechanical. any ideas? I hate driving it now haha. What exactly did he do to your car?Quotes me $1300 to do the clutch on my 4x4 said it would take 1 day, f*cked my 4x4 sensor and my o2 sensor and made me pay for it, took 4 days to do it and then charged $1800 for it. Not sure what he did on my brothers monaro. But he sure is not happy with him.
