Is there any risk involved with flushing a very dirty turbo engine? Just a little concerned about the sludge blocking the turbo lines or something like that?

Hopefully most the crap is in bottom of the sump just needs loosening to come out, if youve got a lot of coking up top or in turbo fed it will help in lifting it whether that's going to clog somewhere is hard to say. Have you got turbo filter?

No. I removed it. I just have a braided line a mate made for me.

He makes race brake lines and custom upgrades.

Jet - it could be down to a higher amount of detergents in the nulon over the fuschs.

You Guys do realise that oil going dark is also a very good sign the oil is doing its job!

Mr 4.0 what you are saying is very true. Some of the best oils on the market will turn black much sooner than other lower quality oils due to them operating more efficiently and keeping the carbon contaminants in suspension. My old FG Turbo use to keep the original oil colour quite well until atleast 5000ks but my new GT has very black oil at only 3000k's on the clock. This bears no indication of the oils ability to lubricate and protect the engine.

yeh your dead right but I also heard a few shockers of nulon clumping and draining at drop time looking real worse for wear and the feel between the fingers almost grainy. so I took it upon my self to see the effects of nulon instead of listening to a mates mate , I hate that sh*t if iam gunna support something or bag it out ill do it off my own back with my own findings. iam just saying I doubt ill keep this nulon in the guts for any lo0nger as it looks and feels suspect to me and that's all ill go by.

fuch titan gto is one of the best oils I have ever used,( for the money) approx $50 a 5ltrs and ive been everywhere man on oil...

but iam a c..nt and know feck all as per my last sig

just a quote ulx or royal purple is the ducks guts but very expensive and I think u need something that works and doesnt cost the earth
