Know why you should do a burnout before running?

It removesoutside layer of rubber.

Less weight

Wheels get up to speed quicker

If you strip motor and gearbox out altogether and then cut out the excess floor in front of the seats, add Pazzo and Staino in the front flint stoning it, this then should net you a 9 sec pass in my experience.

Well I used the qld convertor today.

Just drove for first time since going from 327 to 457rwkw

Can go on record and say feels absolutely no faster.

Grinding checkerplate bumps off tray as I type this.

I drink alcohol before I drive at the race track.. It makes me light headed.. So since my head weighs about 6kg normal.. I reckon the light headedness of alcohol would reduce my head weight to 4.8kg..

Who's the chemistry nut here? What is better? Helium or nitrogen? I realise nitrogen already accounts for about 70-80% of normal air so mustn't make difference going 100% nitrogen. Helium has to be better. Way lighter too.

Also going off worms post. Dish wheels, the actual dish would create drag with the wind coming into the wheels=no good. +1 for 17in standard rims.

Great thread. Must put to use some of these ideas! Cheers pazz, appreciate it :spoton:
