Highest Power Fg - Standard Turbo

I've got an fg xr6t manual tuned by xtreme ford tuning in wa with id1000 injectors,actuator,process west pump and surge tank,nizpro cooler /valve springs /4 inch exhaust upgrade and over boost valve and made 314kw atw at 16psi I find it very hard too believe a car would make a healthy 400kw with small turbo and next too no mods

dont worry mate its not possible with the small fg turbo, wind it out full noise and it still wont hit 400rwkw on any fuel

All comes down to the tuner, and how hard you are tuning right? Reliability starts to go out the window wheb you tune to within an inch of its life

some tuners appear to be able to change the laws of physics though

The GTX3576 would be a good upgrade for someone in a FG wanting 350-360rwkw on pump 98,would outspool the 3582 F6 turbo still I recon.I nearly went this way with my BA.I have had the FG turbo on my car as well and felt like the car lost a heap of weight off the line but my car wouldnt respond to anything over 12psi peak power,GTX3582 put on and tuning was a breeze with enough to put inspection plates in my block.

Quick question,if you have a 500hp turbo on a car does the potential power increase through a larger size motor compared to one with 1ltr less displacemant?

is it ture that the smaller turbo is better for street applications? like if I wasnt to hit track or drags?

yep. small turbo'd FG on e85 will chop just about anything in the real world.

bloody oath,even the 300-320rwkw 98oct ones with good torquey tunes eat ya alive up to 80ish!

I have gay std BTR at the moment though....

My mates got a 300kw canned be ute that gives most things the chop including 330kw FGs (and we all no how sh*t commodore's are)

If you set anything up right it will be good

It's all about setup and you can setup an aftermarket turbo on an FG to make more power/tourque with the same (no) lag
