Heaps of boost off the line with small turbo. It spools up v quickly and low in rev range so does not need a lot of revs. Around 2200rpm is perfect.

oh ok so u did stall it at 2200rpm I couldnt do that or get to much boost off the line as it cuts throttle my tuner said its because I dont have torque cut removed or somthing like that if it was removed theres more chance of breaking inputs shafts not sure my tune is VCM so dont think you can do anything with the ZF but I think you can remove the torque tab not sure but my tuner told me he spoke to a rep or something at VCM and there looking into it and heard from a few people that VCM will be releasing something for the ZF box so see what happens I guess but no good for me as Im removing the ZF all togeather and putting a different box in all in all these little stock turbos with a bit of boost is good fun :)

So you have the fg that was tuned by LG? sorry didn't really understand the post.

Sorry if that got a bit confusing. I don't own the fg that has been tuned by LG, I do however own a fg myself. I heard about the white fg being tuned by LG Automotive locally which got me interested in how well these smaller turbos work with these motors but even to myself the 400+ seemed a bit unbelievable, especially to what has been done to the motor etc.

watch out, liborio will threaten to sue you if you don't believe he can do what no other tuner in australia can come close to.

As Ratter said, Ian would be the more experienced option, plenty of good falcons been through his shop

thread revival

for a start I wouldn't take my commodore ( if I owned one) to Ian let alone my ford

(in saying that in recent times I have actually come across 2 or 3 cars done properly from him)

Ian also never looked at this car nor did he have the option to AFAIK

since all this the car has been fitted with a bigger turbo to my knowledge its the BA/BF turbo with a bigger front housing

and its power went from 410rwkw with the standard turbo to ~390rwkw (same tuner)

and after some small teething issues managed a last night a PB of 11.518 @ 128.57 2.08 60ft

which leads me to believe it the fastest (not quickest) FG in full street trim still running a falcon turbo on 98 pump gas??
