Or it is right how it is? Lol :/haha woops, meant to be not really a factor. boosted_rhino, if you want to loose bottom end then get your tuner to tune it that way, they can make your car feel like its gutless down low, then you get pinned into your seat as the boost kicks in or you can have a linear power curve through the rev range. All this can be achieved using the stock cam set up. VCT was developed by Ford, it is different from vtech. No one is against cams here but you really don't need them. There will be zero benefit to your application. your rods will let go before you would even consider upgrading cams.

The proclaimed 400+kw fg with standard turbo was tuned by LG Automotive in Townsville. The person tuning the car, from what I've been told, is only new to tuning these vehicles. Ian from Aitkenvale Auto has told myself that he will be taking a look at the car to see what has actually been done to get such numbers and believes it is pretty much bs and well unsafe for the motor etc. I believe Ian knows exactly what he is talking about as I have heard nothing but good things from his workshop and he has never gone wrong by myself, always aiming for the most power and doing it safely. He will be carrying out the work on my own fg and I would like to push for as much power as I can out of the standard turbo.

Someone will eventually crack a 10 no doubt.
