Just some more info for you, I run the X Force 4" dump and high flow cat. Everything after the cat is stock on my BF. With 60lb injectors, Walbro pump, big cooler and a tune, got 305 rwkw and have run a 12.1

No boost issues, nice and quiet when cruising (only slightly louder than stock) but sounds great when on boost. Hope that helps.

thanks spook that helps alot. ill be doing all your mods exactly minus the Dump and cooler. and if I can get 280-290rwkw im happy.

from countless threads ive read on this site and chats with some tuners, I will be able to make 300rwkw + with the stock cooler BUT it WONT be consistently made, as temps will rise dramatically after a couple of hard runs and once the temperature is up the 300rwkw wont be made. in saying that this is no track car and street car which will hit WSID once every 3-6 months for a bit of fun.

You'll notice the heat soak a lot on the street. My car felt like it was N/A when I was running around 250kw at 10psi. As soon as I put the cooler on all that went away.

is there a considerable difference in size between BA XR6t vs BF F6 stock cooler?

I wouldn't bother with an F6 cooler, its only around %50 larger than the stock one and still suffers from the same heat soak issues.

Try to save for a Rapid or Process west kit - either of these will net you a better long term result by having room to expand.

Pretty much what Senna said. It doesn't take much over factory boost for heat soak to kick in and you'll start to notice it as soon as you get a tune and the days warm up.

Good advise above re the cooler. It's worth upgrading it before you get a tune as it saves needing a retune should you want to run a bigger one later on. You will therefore save money in the long run. I fitted a Rapid set up and still use the factory cross over and airbox - am very happy with the setup and results. Engine bay still looks relatively stock
