I dont want any drone and dont mind at all if it is quiet like stock..will a 4" dump + 5" CAT make the exhaust note much louder than factory?if I can get away with not upgrading the dump to make 300rwkw I will. ofcourse all other mods will be in place to get the 290-300rwkw. cooler (maybe), fuel pump, injectors and flash tune.any input and advise is appreciatedthanks Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/80362-4-dump-5-cat-will-it-be-much-more-louder-than-stock/ Share on other sites

When I only had a cat on my stock exhaust it sounded awesome. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/80362-4-dump-5-cat-will-it-be-much-more-louder-than-stock/#findComment-1244839 Share on other sites

Benny Member 1,869 Member For: 21y 10m 2d Gender: Male Location: Newcastle Posted 29/05/12 09:09 AM Share Posted 29/05/12 09:09 AM I had a 4 inch dump and 5 inch cat on my FG Turbo and the increase in volume was only slight at idle and cruise. But at WOT is was quite a bit louder but sounded awesome. This could've been attributed to the increase boost from the tune though. Really made people stop and look.Benny. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/80362-4-dump-5-cat-will-it-be-much-more-louder-than-stock/#findComment-1245208 Share on other sites

I'd be stoked with that! I dont mind it opening up on WOT and being alot louder, but for cruising and idling I want it as quiet as possible. (NO DRONE)cheers gents.
