Ba Ute - Footwell Lights

Just looking for a definate answer- as I am bit confused from other threads..

Have an '05 Ba Mk 2 XR6 ute with premo sound - I have had a look and have the holes for the footwell lights but nothing behind them. If I go digging behind the dash will I find them taped up somewhere? Or should I just forget it?

Not real keen on tapping into other interior lighting.... ifI don't have too.

My 07 BF2 XR6T with premo sound and dual zone didnt have the footwell lights. I put them in myself. Not a hard job. Just tap into the wiring running up the drivers side A pillar.

its hit and miss if they are there or not , some are some arnt.

I'm looking to put a 6" neon in footwell for my '05 xr6. However there are 3 wires in the pillar, could someone point me in the right direction? What are the 2 wires I need and also what is the easiest way to splice into these?Thanks.
