So there may actually be some benefit to having a filter. Thinking about this further it could be possible that the Ford engineers have used the FG's larger oil feed line due to coking (in an attempt to reduce impact). The reason I say this is because I would imagine that the oil restrictor is still the same size.. If this is the case then, the oil flow rate to the turbo would be unchanged. Bonjaz Donating Members 1,841 Member For: 16y 2m 3d Gender: Male Location: CQ Posted 28/05/12 12:43 AM Share Posted 28/05/12 12:43 AM just cleaned my earls inline filter after 3000km and in that 3000km had a turbo change, oil change, gauge/sandwich plate install and with all my dodgy craftsmanship I found a small amount of crap in the filter so f*ck the haters its doing its job :f*ckyou: and on a side note I have a 08/09 fg and it still had the small bf filter in the block...
