Once car is warm, it disappears. I researched this and thought it was loose bolts on the turbo- checked but found nothing. Was hopin some one could describe which bolts they are, or if that even is the problem.I am also havin a boost problem. Turbo is going, but not getting the power I thought I would. Had a mate take it for a spin and said feels like I'm getting no boost at all.Would appreciate some good adviceThanks guys Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/80334-turbo-ticking-when-cold-lacking-boost/ Share on other sites

Noise could be coming from lack of oil to turbo. Doesn't do it constantly only when warming up. Also checked for boost leaks but came up with nothing. That cold ticking noise could be many things including the idle pulley.. Sounds like an exhaust leak. Check all your exhaust manifold bolts.
