justkrusin Member 52 Member For: 16y 16d Gender: Male Location: Geelong Area Posted 13/09/12 11:46 AM Share Posted 13/09/12 11:46 AM I Have just replaced the turbo on my FG It had done 28000klm was very noisy..whining..car has been tuned with exhaust and XR8 airbox..made 285rwkw..boosting to 18 psi The turbo was noisy before tune, but got progressively worse. The turbo was replaced with the bigger F6 turbo..has not been dynoed since, but the caris a different beast now..Before was hard to get off line hard without wheelspin..now boost comeson higher in rev range....but pulls harder and longer..like a train..avg economy is 11.1 ltrs per 100.I dont know if it will make more power, but it feels better...more driveable Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
