I was quite surprised that in 5th (manual, no tune) with WOT car stuttered and the TC was was on. Now I know that there is no way I was losing traction. Im thinking maybe TPS, but TC lit up so a little stumped. Went through previous threads with no success. Thanks in advance for any advice. The "paint everything black" joke is overImpellor, in 5th at wot you could have been experiencing torque reduction via etc. In a nutshell your car decided the driver demand for torque was too high and psrtially closed the throttle to reduce it.This is just one possibility. How long since its had a set of spark plugs fitted? 5th gear and wot is a very high load situation and would show ant flaws in the ignition system if they exist

Thanks Mick. Cheers
