Fuel systems cost money, there is no avoiding it.I saved money cause I can do stuff myself, bought a pump that someone wasn't going to use but was new and bought the reg at Jambo where stuff can be had cheap Edited 24/05/12 04:59 AM by allmtr

Better of spending the money on a system already done unless you have the skills required ot build one. My tuner built a custom one for his ute but then again he can weld and set it up under the tub in his ute and got it all done for $500 for the bits then just did another $250 for the lines and it was done and done well. The 2nd hole just has a bung in it for now.I would only need the rail, reg and fuel line fittings + another 044.The part where I get lost is what fuel fittings I should use or what I will need and where to get it?? Straight -8 is about $12 and 90 degree -8 is $44Plazmaman for the rail (about $300)Turbosmart FPR1200 for the reg (about $275)-8 alloy line to bay, -6 return (About $100)P clamps to hold fuel line every 300mm (about $50) Edited 24/05/12 07:27 AM by allmtr

Im assuming you have the surge tank mounted in the same location as the pro-iee or plazzy.Do you have a couple of pics of your setup at the rail?I'm just trying to picture the best way to go about coming off the rail and going down to the surgey also the reg to the rail connections as Im assuming the threads on the rail will be a dif. size/pitch to the reg. just to be a pita I'll just need to find out what thread I have in the surge tank and what threads the plazzy rail has I guess..... if anyone knows? What is the best size piping, etc to stick to...3/8??Thanx

Just waiting on next paycheck to get the rail as I have the other two items. Most (all?) of the fittings should be -6 or -8 on the reg/rail/surge

If you go an aftermarket fuel filter...........the 25micron stainless magnaflow filter I have used is still too course for my liking and I have since switched to a 6 micron micro fibreglass. The supplier of my injectors Tony Palo (T1 Race Developments - original ID supplier) does not recommend anything above 10 microns for the injector dynamics range.http://fuelab.com/fuel-filters/818-series-in-line-fuelab-filters/81831-in-line-fuelab-filtershttp://www.jayracing.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_14&products_id=144MP-7008 (but use a -6An fitting instead) - http://www.magnafuel.com/products/accessories/filters/index.htm
