TPS switch... I had exact same problems except mine would shut down while driving at any speed.

I'd regularly get limited RPM then engine shutdow after washing the car. It became an especially anoying glitch during the air drying process.

This is an 09 Fg motor. The throttle body assembly is sealed, you just cant change the TPS or even see it. It seems if it is a TPS fault you have to change the whole throttle body.

Or am I mistaken.

Did you ever resolve this NobleXr6.

What a PITA, I hope ford have a quality throttle body now if its sealed, the old one that was serviceable was puss and used to sh*t all the time. For the older ones there is a 3rd new style TPS now, alot dearer than the previous ones, but hopefully the quality is proportional to the price!!
