The pictures on their website aren't very good so I have a few questions. Is the intake tube a replacement part or do you still use the original XR6T pipe?

Why not use the XR8 intake if your going to use the XR8 air cleaner assembly?

How do they overcome the difference in piping sizes between the XR6T and XR8 between the engine and the filter?

Thanks in advance for any help guys. :puke:

;)

The system gives you a full XR8 setup with intake behind the headlight and also the XR8 box is modified to allow the original standard T intake to fit into the side of the airbox. Result air from under the bonnet (as per standard T) and also from behind the headlight (as per standard Xr8) twice as much flow, Also the whole setup does look better than the photos. It looks good, is very effective, and can be fitted in 10 minutes, :hrmm::blush:

Thanks hypnodoc, forgive me for being stupid but does that mean the they don't supply the piping from the cleaner pod to the engine? As ms700's modification shows you need the change the piping because the original won't fit. How did you do it? :hrmm:

Well I was a lucky boy.. santa came early... I have been doing some job swaps with my local muffler shop, and got the centre muffler job, and as a pleasant bonus he scored me a ssi kit. Fits well, looks the part and works well

Hi WhiteTee,

I'm looking at getting this mod done and I'm in the sydeny area (hills too actually).

Can I ask where you got it done?

thanks

Hi Geeseman ,

Castle Hill Exhausts. Ph 9680 2777.Will probably charge about $50.00

for installation. Would take about half hour.

Kit also comes with a nice Ricey sticker if you are so inclined.

Cheers

WhiteTee

You get the whole lot mate, including the extra pipe as per MS700. You just have to bolt it all in :hrmm::hrmm:

Again guys, is it worth getting one of the controlling members to organise a bulk buy, hopefully get a better price and put business through people that are supporting us??

Is there a controlling member that is happy to co-ordinate?

I would certainly purchase one! Anyone else?
