After talking to GT-P the other week I would guess offering a discount price isn't practical for him (I'm sure he'll say if so or not). Because he only makes the extra mounting piece so the current XR6T intake tube can mount to the XR8 pod housing, the rest he buys off Ford spares bar the K&N filter, so he wouldn't have much room to move, I would assume. Maybe enquires would be better pointed to MS700 to obtain the genuine parts required under a group discount and then purchase the extra mounting off GT-P and the filter if you can't get it anywhere else. Then anyone who is interested can send you a PM and arrange to order the kit.

I bought the set up for my T and you get every thing you need to bolt straight in including the extra hoses brackets the lot + K&N Filter. This mod is well worth it in my opinion. You don't have to go to Ford or any hardware shops you just need a 10mm spanner

Redhawk ....Time to lay this fairytale aside...... Donating Members 2,657 Member For: 21y 11m 12d Gender: Male Location: In the Ferry on the River Styx, not getting out just yet! Posted 30/01/04 08:56 AM Share Posted 30/01/04 08:56 AM Got the SS cold air induction fitted to the GT before delivery so don't know what performance increases I have gained. Also got the BMC filter installed too.For those worried about the deflectors robbing the radiator of cooling air....forget it does'nt happen...took the 'fox' for a spirited run last weekend and the ambient air was about 40 - 41 degC, no probs with cooling at all, temp needle did not rise at all.The only mod I have done to the deflectors was to paint them black so they don't stick out so much. See Attached. Will be getting dealer to screw the base down flush as it humps up just above the FPV falcon's head logo.

I have seen the Late model camira ones in auto shops and they do look like they are made of much better plastic.

Dean,I've seen yours and another friends on a BA and his appeared to be of much better material than yours also, perhaps there are different ones already around for the BA that are of better quality. I can put you onto the guy he got it from if you like?Mark
