Besides, had you have created another thread with the same question, you'd have had someone jump down your throat. From the information I've gathered in this thread, the bolt retaining hole should be offset to the top when installed correctly. Does that help you at all?

I know the nolathanes generate a bit of noise but this is a pretty obvious audible clunk every time it slows down and changes into gear, and also backing off the throttle. Sounds like tail shaft slack in the driveline or something similar.

Does this look normal to you guys? I notice the washer and bolt appear different on mine from the one pictured above.http://i45.tinypic.com/2hnpbw5.jpghttp://i49.tinypic.com/f2q0jt.jpg

But looking at it you cant adjust it up or down like The Converteds' bush. Hopefully Senna_T will be able to come back and answer why its not designed the same. One with an offset bolt hole and one centralized. I believe that they listed the one with a central mounted bolt as for the BF or FG and the other for BA. fordZ Member 23 Member For: 13y 11m 13d Gender: Male Location: Canberra Posted 23/05/12 11:13 AM Share Posted 23/05/12 11:13 AM Thanks.Dillz I agree - something doesn't look right. Almost like it's not far enough into the actual cradle for the bush. Interested to see senna_T's reply.

Looking at your photos it seems that Ford have re-used the original diff bolt, Nolathane supply a new bolt that is longer than the original. This may be the cause of the problem, however if you aren't too far away you are welcome drive up for us to have a look at the install for you.
