That is how the super pro one was installed in my BA prior to me purchasing the car.The 'professional' who installed it had simply packed it up with a sh*t load of washers. When I had the rear cradled removed to replace the two side diff bushes, this issue was rectified - although the internal thread in the diff hat was royally farked and cost me another $180 for a new hat from Fraud. This is where my latest issue obviously occurred. The bloke at the shop that fitted all of this up for me has failed to install the center diff bush in the appropriate orientation. All the best with your issue fordZregardsMichael

Knew it couldn't have been normal!!senna_T - have sent you a PM, hoping that the right bolt can be put in without removing the whole rear end/cradle... but not optimistic about it!CheersJeff

I'm hoping (but like yourself am not very optimistic) that the bush can be rotated without removing the cradle. However, damage to the rear universal will have already been done. You should keep in mind that seeing as though your diff bush was changed, the ford tech may have opted to use a brand new ford bolt as opposed to trimming the one that came with th nolathane kit. On a side note, from info that I have received from other people in their experience is that nolathane bushes are much noisier than super pro. Converted - you will have to remove the cradle to re-position your diff bush, once installed the bush stays in there pretty firm.

Night and day, track day squirts and still quiet as a mouse..much better than stock sh*tter.

I've arranged with the shop to take a look at their handy work tomorrow morning. You should keep in mind that seeing as though your diff bush was changed AT FORD, the ford tech may have opted to use a brand new ford bolt as opposed to trimming the one that came with the nolathane kit. I always find my spelling mistakes or omissions long after I've posted. Must learn to proof read.
