No need to be sorry mate, we're all here to help each other. Besides, had you have created another thread with the same question, you'd have had someone jump down your throat.

From the information I've gathered in this thread, the bolt retaining hole should be offset to the top when installed correctly.

Does that help you at all?

Cheers buddy.

Almost tempted to take it up to Penrith and see senna_T's team to have it looked at... I know the nolathanes generate a bit of noise but this is a pretty obvious audible clunk every time it slows down and changes into gear, and also backing off the throttle. Sounds like tail shaft slack in the driveline or something similar.

From your pics I would say that they arent a concentric type bush, whether this is a problem or not I dont know. But looking at it you cant adjust it up or down like The Converteds' bush. Hopefully Senna_T will be able to come back and answer why its not designed the same.

From memory; nolathane list two different diff bushes. One with an offset bolt hole and one centralized. I believe that they listed the one with a central mounted bolt as for the BF or FG and the other for BA.

Thanks.

Dillz I agree - something doesn't look right. Almost like it's not far enough into the actual cradle for the bush. Interested to see senna_T's reply.

The bush you have pictured is the correct one for your FG, as Converted has pointed out the BA has an offset centre where as the BF/FG has a central position.

Looking at your photos it seems that Ford have re-used the original diff bolt, Nolathane supply a new bolt that is longer than the original. This may be the cause of the problem, however if you aren't too far away you are welcome drive up for us to have a look at the install for you. All safety checks are free of charge :spoton:
