I was about to ask some questions about getting a job as an electrician in the mines. I imagine there will be a number of extra qualifications on top of the general fitter/mechanic license. Do the the mines employ tradesmen directly or use contractors, and is it still possible to find fifo work or do they only offer relocation deals?
