The rapid systems website says that the small one is 470mmx400mmx90mm, so its still a fair sized intercooler. But I am still curious if RAP1D has done any product research between the two of them, as the big one is only 30mm wider, I'd like to see how much difference there actually is. Boogtonic Member 76 Member For: 13y 4m 9d Gender: Male Location: Brisbane Posted 16/05/12 05:14 AM Share Posted 16/05/12 05:14 AM I have a Rapids v3.5 with the air box and smaller street cooler, running an RDP tune to 485rwhp @19psi.First thing I asked when it was tuned was how the intercooler was coping and Lee's response was 'fine', not one to bullsh*t or hold back I was pretty impressed with this comment. Installed it all myself in about 2.5hrs with no cutting either, go the street IC, you shouldn't need more by what you're saying, good value for money I reckon. I want the race box, but It's a bit rich for my liking... Where do you live though? I'm up in Townsville and our heat can get pretty intense, that's why I was thinking bigger. Process West wants $470 for a battery relocation kit that I cant justify the money for, and everyone else has the battery in with the filter which I'm not a missive fan of either. Stuck between a battery and a hard place...

Ran hard all summer without any noticeable heat soak though so the cooler is doing it's job. The airbox is good but be prepared to turn heads because it's loud!
