Just wondering if there is anyone out there who ha a Rapid V3.0 kit and could let me know what they think of it. I like the fact that it replaces both hot side and cold side piping, and that it has a bigger intercooler then the V2.0 kit. I'm not a massive fan of the under battery intake, but it's gotta be better then stock. So yeah, if anyone could let me know what they think of this kit, it'd be greatly appriciated !!! What do you think of the under battery intake ??? Does it make much spool noise?

If I was to do it again I would have saved a little longer and brought one of the Rapids V4.5 or Process West Race kit as I found I wanted more power.Cheers

You do get a lot of spool noise but I have heard alot of complaints about sucking in crap & water! Each to there own I guess.I have the rapid cooler and in 27c heat my intake temps are 29-30c flat stick 300rwkw.Just be prepared to cut your car :(

No cutting required aparently. Was a bit worried about the water senario... but I'll just leave the splitter and foglight on and hopefully should limit the amount of sh*t getting in there.I was originally saving for the V4.5 kit, but as I'm buying a house soon, I'm trying to save money where I can, but still get what I'm after. Hence the V3.0 kit seems best for its buck.

How much needs to be removed? I dont have massive issues with the trimming. And whats the difference in size/performance of the two coolers? Rwkw, torque, temp increases on back to back runs etc? And assume their the same price as each other its just a matter of choosing which you want? That's what I'd do if I had the choice again. Big one was a bit of a pain to fit on my own.
