needs to be cut, program keypad to car (in owners manual), and program the key itself so it will disarm the immobilizer (can be done at ford, or instructions are on here, somewhere).

The seller might have instructions?

I have one for my ute.

You need to make sure you get the right key for your model. So BA has one type BF has another and FG has another etc.

Program instructions are in the owners manual. (do you have your manual). You must get timing pretty right to get the car to enter the programming mode.

And to program yourself easily you require 2 currently programed keys.

1, So basically buy the flip key, then get it cut at decent key cutter.

2, Go to the car and do the programming of the new keys transponder. This envolves something like putting 1st original key in turn to postion 1 remove and quickly put second key in to position 2 remove then put new key in and put in position 2 and allow car to do program which will be indicated by the door locks cycling I believe. (its got clear instructions in manual)

3, Now go on to programming the alarm side of the keys, you push some buttons on the icc while doing something else to enter the programming mode then you must press the door lock button on every remote that you want to use (this includes already programmed ones, if you dont the other remotes are forgotten by the system, this is also a way to stop a remote working should you lose one.)

Then your all done, can get the instructions for you if need be.

As a note I found my key was cut quite tight so it took alot of force to get the key out of the barrel after the first use. (almost thought the bugger was suck in the barrel) After a couple days it had worn in nicely.

You should end up with a nice flip key. Enjoy.
