The rims are 9.5" wide 18" Lenso D1Rs.Not a bad tyre in my opinion, but I need a street tyre as I'll need to drive in the wet as a daily. The tyres I'm looking at are 285/35/R18 or 285/40/R18 Nitto Invos. I know many of you here speak highly of this tyre.Firstly, I'm fairly sure it will fit, can someone confirm?Secondly, will I need a speedo adjustment to compensate for the change?Thirdly, I've noticed quite a lack of traction with the current tyres (Not always a bad thing), can I expect better grip on the wider/better quality tyres? Even though these are semi slicks? Finally, I am going to take it down to the strip at some point soon, will the Invos be good enough to get me a solid time? Hoping for high 11's, at least. (361rwkw FG Sedan AUTO)Any suggestions are welcome Thanks heaps, Tom

Looks good for wet on their website.I would say you will be easy in the 11's if you get a good 60'

Hope they are readily available.Edit:After looking at the Nitto site, the 18's don't come in 285, damn.Would I see much benefits out of the 275/35/ZR18? Especially in Nitto. They don't have big shoulders so will fit perfectly!

How will I go in the way of traction with them, street and strip? Also samhouston, thanks for the advice! but I really need a street tyre, needs to be driven whenever it rains as it's a daily. I have heard nothing but good things about the Nittos though.

However, bang for buck the Nittos are awesome...Invos in a 275/35/18 will get you an 11... you just need to give them a little bit of warmth and they'll stick like flies to sh*t...
