Theres more and more stock FG motors going mid 400s these days, mine did it fine and most probly will too... but at this high boost level you need to cover all parts and set it up correctly, no skimping

yea mate the FG turbo runs out of puff at 320-330 rwkws, trying to figger out what turbo I want over in the turbo thread but its pretty confusing, need to get my head round what all the numbers and letters mean lol

just the usual mods

IC and piping (tossing up between rapid and PW)

turbo back exhaust

need to get the turbo I want and get waste gate actuator and ported

surge tank

valve springs

injectors

that's just of the top of my head, im sure theres others, not going to rush, stock power is ok for me atm, just going to take my time and do it properly.

just noticed youre sig. youre pushing 400 on a ba bottem end lol that's impressive lol good on ya.

cheers, andy

Buy like a gt42 maybe with twin scroll, make your exhaust manifold 6 to 1, put a spacer between turbo and manifold put a 7 psi actuator and flap across one side of the scrolls and then put in another waste gate controlling both sides so then you have the best of both worlds. By closing one of scroll you will make your exhaust side smaller then once it's over the 7 psi it will open then the the overall wastegate will control the rest

So effectively your making a VGT out of a twin scroll right? Sounds good in theory, how would you tune for

It though I'm curious?

Why would you do this?

Why would you do this?

Well in therory half scroll is spinning instead of Both sides so the turbo would spin up faster, as it goes past the actuator psi point then both sides are spinning, so it will be great in low end and in high end rev range. U.S do it on the supras I believe it's called quick spool valve.

Watch the video clip you will understand why after you watch this
