A tonner is never going to be great in the wet. nitro xr6 turbo Banned 185 Member For: 13y 2m 20d Gender: Male Location: perth wa Posted 15/05/12 09:34 PM Share Posted 15/05/12 09:34 PM yea pretty much whats been saud, front sway bars, castor bushes and check for steering play, commos tie rod ends can be a little dodge at high kms.go round the rear and check to see if the U bolts that hold the springs to the axel are tight.lowering with some good shocks will also make a difference. along with some good tyres.I prefer having leaf springs, might be a bit caveman but its robust in the way off taking big power and not flogging diff bushes / getting diff bounce.there is no reason that a ss would handle alot better, if I were you id spend a bit of coin on the tonner as atleast that's something a bit different, you wont see like 8 of them on youre way to the shops like you would with a ss.cheers, andy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
