All 1/4 times times should be done on the at the drag strip, period! These mag nuf nufs are only to happy to record on a drag strip at a hot tuner challenge but not for other stock car comparions! Please give me strenght!

It's like if they were asked to to economy runs on a 40 degree day with 4 passenger and had the Air con on full!

These car mag spawns are on the take! And sometimes I agree that due to the bigger investment from the chevy camp (sorry GM camp) they just settle for some private/sh*te road for there sprint tests!

How about we all try and win letter of the month next month and ask them to do it again but at the strip and hell I'll even voluteer to peddle them!

nuff said!

If they were all run in the same conditions it doesn't really matter does it?

Kind of like comparing dyno numbers from different tuners, or the same tuner on different days, or even "proper" quarter mile times from different strips and/or different conditions.

It's all relative. I'm not really sure what you guys would expect of the magazines.

Tab, I think you're missing the point... GM must have paid the mag to play down the numbers. It's the only logical conclusion! :spit::stirthepot:

Also if you have not driven one those 335i are a 3.0ltr 6cyl twin turbo. there are pretty impressive car.

They are my brother in law has one and even he is laughing at this as he knows my stock G6ET is quicker than his 335i.

the bit that I don't get is the times for 400m and the 0-160k runs are very different for the g6et.

not too worried about which is quicker
