I have recently ordered an XR6 Turbo ute with Luxury pack option in Silhouette and would appreciate some info. For starters to you guys that have this particular model ute, are you happy with it and is there anything in particular I have to look out for especially on delivery day? Is the standard tow bar pack adequate or is the Hayman Reece a better option? Is there any time needed to run in the engine? These questions for now, thanks and your time is much appreciated. Advise to have a close look at your paint work as mine had overspray all over it when I picked it up. I doubt that it would be a common problem though. bossmang FREAKY Donating Members 12,433 Member For: 15y 20d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 09/05/12 12:46 PM Share Posted 09/05/12 12:46 PM yep mate just check everything. paint, lights, go for a test drive in it (radio off). check for dints.make sure everything is there that you have requested and paid for. floor mats for eg.get the hayman reece heavy duty. that way you can remove the tongue when not using it.Oh and a good habit to get into is servicing every 7500 kays max. dont go by their servicing schedule at all. no no.andThe so called peice of mind check that's free or whatever it is. If buying new dealer will show you how everything works, well mine did. Bluetooth works a treat on the MK2, much better than the early FGs, and the color screen is great.
