I pulled over and started it back up and it has been fine since? I was doing like 60ish and just cruising ? any ideas?aslo im dying to get over 300rwkw ! ive got 295 on 15.5psi , I took it to a tunner to have it looked at cause I wasnt sure it was tunned right as I bought it from a mechanic but wasnt 100% confident in his work considering the oil was old and airfilter really dirty etc, so I took it to hitorque and asked them to have a look at it for me , they ran it and said it was running a little lean down low and they fixed that up and dropped the psi from 16 to 15.5 and still produced the same power within 2 kw,its much better through the mid range now , very happy with that , before it was like nothing then everything but know its much better.but I am dying to get as close to 350 rwkw as possible , my friends bf xr6t has 360rwkw and its a whole different world from 300 :s and I want to get as close to 350 ish as I can ,so I was thinking about going back to the tunners and asking them to bump it up to like 18psi ,what is the most boost I can run on my stock internal ba (except valve springs) I know 18 is rather high , is any one out threre running 18 in their ba ??its got a eboost 2 so I was tempted to just turn the boost up to like 18 but I am not game to touch it cause no doubt more boost means more fuel so if I turn it up it will be running lean and I would probably kill it :S correct?03 ba , 044+ surgy , 60pound injectors , valve springs , 2half with 4inch dump , underbattery air intake, BIG proccess west intercooler , 295 rwkw 15.5psi Edited 06/05/12 09:27 AM by dastard1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/80050-ba-max-boost-and-random-cut-out/ Share on other sites

See what runs out of legs first without making it go bang. Make sure the exhaust has no restrictions. Is your pipe work from the turbo to the cooler all good? Not sure if my auto would make much if any difference. You seem to have all the fruit.Maybe my 3.5" exhaust makes a difference?
