MY ROD GOT OUT Member 434 Member For: 14y 5m 27d Posted 31/07/13 10:46 AM Author Share Posted 31/07/13 10:46 AM ok so back in the club but now runnning an FG long engine. so much cleaner in the tune and power ended up being more than previous tune (324rwkw @ 18psi) now runnning 346rwkw @ 16psi and holds pretty damn flat which im happy with. clint was told to not chase a number just get me a lower boost tune for this engine. it was funny as he could really only pull 2psi out of the high boost tune as it wanted more power!!( apparently one run pulled 360+ haha) im too scared of an engine going again so im over the moon with how this tune has ended up. also did a low boost tune (297rwkw @ 10psi).changes from last time: FG long motor with bf sump, rocker cover etc etc etc (write up in engine section)8PSI actuatorgot rid of throttle body relocation and made up new coldside piping. (jury is out on tb relocation and ability to make power).Got an issue with idle at the moment which we think may be MAP sensor playing up but other than that drives great.
